Lottes Park

The Lottes Park driveway and parking lot did, in fact, get some new crushed rock this year, but as you can see it needs some more. There are also some low areas that collect water. The park could use more defined parking and driving areas at some point. Nonetheless, this park is a phenomenally popular public boat launch. The floating pier (you can barely see it in the background of one photo.) is similar to what we would like to see at Winnequah Trial and Tonyawatha Boat landings.

I love this park. I wish the owners of Hickory Lane had left it to the city, to be an extension of Lottes Park.

I agree too, more defined parking is needed. It is a HOT spot for boaters and also for those who like the peace and quiet on a lunch break or just to kill time.

The view over to Hickory Lane is awful, doors missing of almost every house now, it's November 20, 2008.

I pray it (the defunctedness of HLMHP) ends with this as a park, wishful thinking.

Nice photos of all the parks Doug.
